Amy Tesz, LMHC, ATR-BC, MCCS
Hi, I'm Amy! I'm glad you're here.

I believe...
-
therapy offers a dedicated space and time to focus on yourself.
-
in working with you to explore your thoughts and feelings, uncover insights, and find new ways to tackle life’s challenges.
-
in helping you to have a deeper understanding of yourself, your relationships, and your experiences in the world so that you can connect to what is meaningful to you.

For over 20 years I have been helping people navigate the ups and downs of life in a more manageable way. My approach to psychotherapy is centered around mindfulness, compassion, and a focus on insight and awareness. By helping clients tap into their own creativity, my aim is to help you build new skills and insights that you can carry into the future.
With support, compassion, and a warm, friendly environment, my goal is to help you experience a greater sense of well-being and fulfillment.

About
Therapy Dog Riley
Meet Riley!
Riley is a kind Portuguese Water Dog who believes everyone is her friend. Riley loves:
-
Being with people
-
Napping at work (she sleeps on her back!)
-
Treats (her top 3 favorites are carrots, cheese sticks, and green beans)
Animal assisted psychotherapy is a unique approach to therapy that integrates animals as part of the treatment process.

As a certified therapy dog handler, I work with Riley to provide comfort, support, and a connection that allows clients to express themselves and explore their emotions more freely.
